The Old Courthouse invites you to warm into winter with our Lark Distillery Whisky Dinner.

Lark Distillery is one of Australia’s most famous and celebrated whisky distilleries, located in the heart of the Coal River Valley Tasmania. Experience a fine selection of malt whiskies from the award winning house of Lark, and uncover the history behind the first and original Tasmanian whisky distillery of the modern era, in this unique and intimate experience hosted by master blender Josh Wilson and brand ambassador Graeme Watson.

On arrival~ One Lark Symphony No.1 highball – Crowned Australia’s best blended malt whisky at the 2022, 2023 and 2024 World Whisky awards.

Entrée ~ Duck liver parfait with dried blueberries, pickled shallots and a cherry glaze served on toasted brioche. Whisky: Lark Classic Cask

Main course ~ Slow cooked beef ribs in chinotto, confit black garlic mash with a whisky and truffle sauce. Whisky: Lark Tasmanian Peated + Chinotto Citrus Cask

Dessert ~ Dark chocolate crème brûlée tart with peanut butter mousse and raspberries. Whisky: Dark Lark + Para 1992

Cheese ~ San Simon, apple compote. Whisky Liqueur: Slainte. An ode to sugar & spice, this Tasmanian Whisky Liqueur marries our finest single malt whisky with a closely guarded selection of botanicals to produce a delightfully complex & velvety liqueur.
